Catastrophe Enclosure

Introduction

As we know the world is facing major humanitarian crisis in various aspects, I was influenced by the natural and man made disasters happening around the world. As we can see Jordan is one of the countries that is prone to disasters and people are affected mentally and physically by these crises and have many fears. So, we as architects should provide such opportunity. Disaster-resilient housing is an urgent need and an incredible opportunity. We all need a safe home; a home that will protect us from the natural and man-made disasters and will be preserved to the passage of time, people are forced to adapt and live with more extreme environments. The resilient home is one that can take inspiration from regenerative practices.
